building a pocket pal 803t

As the tile says I am building a pocket pal 803t. I am using a lavadrive (the new one) and am not sure if i have to insulate the heatsink (like jayrobs but I machined it) and the LD from the case, I know you can do this with a ddl or a rckstr driver because the driver goes straight to the diode anyway.

also the case is negative in a pockt pal just so you know
