I bought this laser from EBay, and it says it can burn stuff, but my laser doesn’t burn anything. Is it anything I can do to fix this problem?

I can’t post a pic and I can’t link it, but it is a blue/purple laser that looks like a lightsaberI bought this laser from EBay, and it says it can burn stuff, but my laser doesn’t burn anything. Is it anything I can do to fix this problem?
1) Before I get to any other point, you should be wearing the appropriate OD6+ safety goggles (from laserglow) while using this potentially Class IV laser. If you aren't then don't go any furtherI bought this laser from EBay, and it says it can burn stuff, but my laser doesn’t burn anything. Is it anything I can do to fix this problem?
Do you know which battery’s I should use instead, right now I use 16340 1300 MAh 3,7 V battery. Does the laser get stronger if I buy battery’s with higher Mah?1) Before I get to any other point, you should be wearing the appropriate OD6+ safety goggles (from laserglow) while using this potentially Class IV laser. 2) Burning depends on power density. Make sure the beam is focused down to a small dot for burning, using the focusing thread if there is one or external lenses.
3) Burning depends on exposure time. Hold the laser still to burn, don't wave it around.
4) Burning depends on the material the laser is pointing at. Black objects and the color that is complementary to the laser burn the best, but different materials (paper, wood, plastic, glass, etc) will affect the burning ability as well.
5) eBay lasers are known for being cheap and ripping off consumers with overspec ratings. It's likely the laser you received is simply less powerful than advertised.
6) Make sure you're using the correct batteries and they're charged.
Safety is number 1, and try doing your own research for simple questions and laser safety, there are lots of threads about these kinds of topics on the forum and not everyone is going to answer questions like this
Use whichever fully charged batteries are recommended. The driver should supply the correct voltage and current to the laser, as long as it's getting enough juice. If you change the batteries, you could damage the driver.Do you know which battery’s I should use instead, right now I use 16340 1300 MAh 3,7 V battery. No idea.I can’t post a pic and I can’t link it, but it is a blue/purple laser that looks like a lightsaber
You should be able to post the link in its entirety as a link like XXXX.com. I need much more information to answer your questions. From your description it sounds like a 405nm diode laser. Good luck.I can’t post a pic and I can’t link it, but it is a blue/purple laser that looks like a lightsaber
