I thought i would honor my freshly finished Blu-Ray build by shooting a short video of the fluorescence of my pop can coaster. (I'm from MN, its pop, not soda or coke ;)) Enjoy!

First, nice job on your laser. Nice and professional looking.

I notice when I point my blu-ray laser at darker stained wood, it displays weird colors - not really florscent tho....

Fom Indiana here, and it's pop as well ;)
there is a website that breaks down State by State, County by County whether it's Pop, Soda, Coke.

same when i shine mine at the floor it turns a greenish whit color

Thanks for the compliments, and yeah i have noticed the strange glowing on other things as well, that coaster captured a lot of the colors all in one nicely :)

Looks really good, you should get the heatsink black anodized to match the host.

I tried it with the lights off but the flashes of light were so bright in contrast that the camera wasn't able to capture it real well....

WELL... i retried and did some tweaking to my camera settings sooo expect a night video shortly. after i import it and convert it and then ill be waiting on the loooong youtube uploads
