Hi,

I wanted to thank everyone for the help I received in my previous threads, for example, this one: http://laserpointerforums.com/f38/help-purchasing-brd-laser-50942.html.

I was trying to build a lithography system based on a blu ray diode sled, which includes all the optics which are aligned to give you a very small spot size.

As I mentioned, I am a graduate research student and this led to a publication, which can be found here: http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.optlaseng.2011.12.004.

Some of you may be able to access that article, but if you can't and you really want to read it, PM me with your email address, I may be able to send you a PDF of it.

Again, I wanted to thank your input, the overall result was proposing a very cost effective laser lithography system with a cost of less than $1000 with similar capabilities than commercial systems which are worth ten or hundred thousands of dollars.

Cheers!

Right on man! Nice work, that was a very interesting read.
It's always great to see hobbyists use lasers for something other than burning stuff.
