Blu-ray and transitions lenses

Ok everyone, I have a question: would a blu-ray laser affect transitions lenses? I wear glasses that are transitions lenses, they get darker in the presence of UV light, so would they darken the lenses? And could they damage the coating on the lenses, if they do (or, I suppose, even in they don't)?

Just wondering...  


I'll likely try it out, unfocused, on my glasses. (and obviously while I'm not wearing them )

obviously don't point it directly. it will damage the lens.

DON'T try with an 803t diode or anything like that unless it has a wide spread.

You can drive PS3 diodes that low? What is the lowest current you can set it to for it to lase?

Mine is set at 10mA above lasing threshold, I think I've set it at 32mA.

Did you use a pen host?  Because I really want to build one of these in a pen host. Also, what driver did you use?
