I just got an X-125 that may or may not be having some problems, I'd like to give my new laser the benefit of the doubt and say its an external factor. I going to grab some energizer e2s and I was wondering just how one goes about cleaning a laser? My first thought is a dry coffee filter...

First use compressed air to remove any dust or particles that can scratch the lens. If that alone doesn't do the job use a microfiber cloth like those used for cleaning glasses. Put a SMALL amount of lens cleaner on it and carefully clean the lens.

If money isn't an issue you might wanna invest in the LensPen. :P Do you happen to have any pictures of your particular "problem"? :-?

Lens Pens are cheap. Your local camera store should have them, as well as Radio Shack/The source by Circuit City/whatever they're calling themselves now. I got mine for $12 at a camera place nearby.

It was only 1100 :P

That's a pretty good point though, I gotta admit.
