Stick a big IR filter in front of the thermo pile and/or a small one in front of the laser. Problem solved (yes very ghetto but it should correct the IR leakage problem)

As I stated above... that is only required for DPSS Lasers like 532nm.
The IR Filter should NOT be permanently mounted to the front of a
Thermopile Sensor.

So would sticking a temporary IR filter in front of a frequency doubled laser make the reading accurate/reliable?

It should keep the leakage at an acceptable level and laserbee yea only a temp filter in front of the thermo pile
