Best cheap DVD burner for the DYI Mag light laser

I need help finding the best DVD burner for the DYI mag light lazer mod which should i get? I need to know where there is the casing that works becasue im looking at ebay since the AixiZ site has a 2 week backorder

why buy a whole dvd burner when you can buy a dvd laser diode from here: h__p://sales.stonetek.org/

Yes, but we have been finding they either have open can diodes, or chip diodes. If you have never done this before, you are better off getting a few diodes from the group buy. They are very powerful and you will not be disappointed.

Yes. Many of us already have them and are very impressed. I have been able to easily light a safety match at 6 feet away.
