Beam expander

if i figured out how to mount this to a laser do you think it would work as a beam expander i found this in the attic bout 20 min ago

so what do you guys think I think it has 4 lens in it and it has zoom and focus I think it will work but idk I need opinions cuz Ik someone who wants to buy it from me for 150.00
