i was wondering what size a cr123 batter was on a scale in comparison to say a AA like 2/3 AA or what ever.

also if anyone knows where to get some battery holders for them i would be in your debt

Thanks in advance,
Mitch

cr123 are good batts last longer than AA i would say and battery holders you can get at digikey.com

You've never seen a CR123? You can find them all over the place because they're used in cameras. They're like a 2/3AA in height but they're a couple of millimeters bigger in diameter (I'm measuring one at 34x17mm 50x14mm for a AA.)

Get batt. dimentions at WWW.dealextreme.com.
Use 1' sched 40 PVC . Bring your batt to the store and find a good fit.
Use PVC threaded plugs drilled for the batt. contact/ lead wires.

no i know what they are i just wanted to get those measurments and find some holders so i can make some more red lasers

awesome i found the battery holders i want
it turns out they are also classified as 2/3 A batteries and thus is what the battery holder is called

thanks guys
Mitch
