Hello to all. just a heads up about my experience with Beam-q. I purchased a 150mW Green Beast for about $155. I had been wanting to get a powerful green laser for years. Got a bonus from work that wasn't completely eaten by the bills. I was very happy with the power of the laser. After 3 months of light use the focusing lens has seemed to have fallen out of place and the button does not work well. I contacted Todd the admin at beam-q expecting some help. Here is the email I sent. " Hello, I'm having two problems. I cant focus into a skinny beam for pointing only a wide beam for burning and the button sometimes doesn't work. I'm very happy with the power of this laser and need it working again. Thanks! Austin" Here is the response " Did you try to adjust the end cap ? It doesn't work because the end spring is loosed." I sent him 3 more emails with no further response. I asked for a replacement then I asked for a refund. No reply. Does anyone here have any ideas on how I can fix this?
Here is a beam shot @ 10 ' and the cap Cheers

Wow, sounds like a scam company... From what i know people around here don't use beamq much. You could probably fix the problem bit i admit i am lacking in lens knowledge... The button issue could be fixed by moving the driver, the issue is probably due to misalignment of the driver and button hole.

Welcome to the forum, be respectful of your fellow members, remember to search before asking, and always observe the proper safety precautions with any laser. :)

Yea, I did a little research before buying but was limited by $. its a water proof hand held with the button on the back cap. the driver and hs are glued in so i cant imagine how i could get them apart to even get to the focusing lens. Just tryin to put the word out so others don't get burned by their bad service and false advertising. Well, thanks for the warm welcome and advice. Cheers!
