Well I have been around here reading in the forums for a long time now and today I was going to post about getting my 75mw from dragonlasers, but in my exitement to open my new laser, it fell out of the package and crashed to the floor. I prayed to every religion that it would be okay, but it doesent work at all. It also rattles. What I need to know is there anything I can fix in and how should fix this situation. Can't believe this happened. :'(

That really sucks man. I do not think trying to fix it would be worth loosing the warranty.

Go here for the info on how to return you laser.

Well, first make sure you're putting the batteries in right, and you're using fresh batteries. Negative into the case, positive touching the back cap. Its possible you broke it, but these lasers are usually more resilient than that. I've dropped them many times, including dropping it onto the road at ~20mph once, without problem.

If it did get messed up though, it could be anything from the button to the diode to the MCA - none of which you want to be fixing yourself, especially if you don't know where the fault it. Try getting and RMA/warranty on it, otherwise you could be looking at a serious repair job that could easily cost you more than the laser is worth.
