Back for sale! 1.7 watt 467-470nm Handheld

Before you think this price is a little extreme, I don't blame you at all, considering that this laser cost me over $380 to build, I'm starting the price high and I'm willing to work my way down for the perfect deal.

I want $460 for it.

This laser uses the 9mm NDB7678 diode running at 2.2 amps, this is a rare diode, better than the m462s in terms of taking high current. These are considered rare since dtr can't get a hold of these anymore. I have tested 2.7 amps on this beast and still takes it like it's nobody's business, not recommended though. This diode can possibly reach up to 473nm!

This is the best laser I have ever owned. Since 4th of July is over there is really no need for this laser, but that's not the reason why I'm selling this, I kinda need car money and I'm deciding to sell this for a good chunk of cash. So anybody out there wants to have a good true blue laser PM me because this is for sale.

Nbd7675 laser diode
Stainless steel c6 host
extended and tapered copper heatsink
Conical Focusing Knob
G-2 Lens
Glow-in-the-dark tail cap
Wristband
Batteries are not included, they use two of rcr123as or 18640s

The thing is .. you can not say "output power = 1.7W-1.9W". This saying is based on what ? ... On DTR's results ? because it various from diode to diode.

For example , I got many diodes over the time. M140 diode for example , can do 2.2W+ at 1.8A with G lens. And some of them did 1.5W at 1.8A with G lens. Average was around 1.8W.

So as you can see there is no guarantee the diode will be like DTR tests.

In my opinion , it is not right to declare a power when you do not have a lpm test of the diode. In a case it will do 1.5W for example ... the buyer will want his money back.

So take into consideration please :beer:

Okay, I see what you mean, it's just an estimated of the power, I lack an lpm causing the problem to just guess on things without a good power test.

Nice build but if you want to get the most money for it your gonna need an LPM or have someone measure it who has one.

Find someone you can trust in your area and have them put it on an LPM. Many people will do this for free. There is a thread around here somewhere that has a link to a map of all the members with an LPM. If I find it, I'll post it here later for you.

Not to many people are going to put out the kind of price you are asking for without a verified LPM output from a calibrated LPM.

Actually what I just found out that there is a $100 lpm on illumination supply, so I will surely get that. Hopefully it's the power I expect it to be.
