Ask for a refund or get a different laser?

Hello people, I have a "dead" rayfoss laser that is still under warranty that I will be sending back for replacement. It's the RF532-200mW-FMK(IR Filter) green laser, but having seen the new WL arctic s3 with 1 W of blue and a nice host, I am now thinking if I should ask for a refund and go for the WL instead because it's basically the same price. I have never experienced WL before, so can anyone tell me if this is a good idea? Also, are there any other laser companies that offer such powerful high quality lasers for the same price? Thanks!

I think you will need to make up your on mind as
to what you want..

For info on the Arctic.... you just need to read the Threads
in the 445nm Lasers Section...

Those two lasers are entirely different animals. We can't know what you prefer in a laser, so just read up and go with whatever you want. No one here will stop you from going either route.

Well, what I like should be kinda obvious: 1 W of 445nm of course. I'm just asking because of all the stories I've been hearing about WL.

You can't match the beam of a 532nm with 445nm, or even compare, 532nm is made entirely differently, is an entirely different color and therefore has different qualities to its beam, brightness, etc. You will need to decide weather you want less but more visible or visa versa. :)

EDIT: Lucky Post 777. :)
