That's awesome: 8W single-mode white laser. I can't wait til I can buy a portable white laser from O-like or Rayfoss or something. Also the thing against pirates is unbelievable: they say it has a range of over 2km in daytime and it is still eye-safe???

Bullshit. Brightest in its class maybe. Note: only 1.8W of it is in the visible spectrum. Hell, many hobby projectors are more than that. Mixed gas lasers can go much higher. There's an 84W (2x 30W argons and 2x 12W kryptons) at the grand coulee dam. and Arctos has a 66W OPSL system.

Amazing how many people throw around "world's first," "world's best," and "world's strongest" etc. without first doing the least bit of research.
