Another 445nm lab build

I mate of mine has caught the coherent bug since I gave him a 100mW 532 DPSS module and a 650 module to play with. He wanted to try a 445nm 1W diode too so I build him a little programmable power lab module. Just finished it tonight.

I used the old LM317 driver with DIP switch programmable current. All DIP switches OFF gives 250mA (5ohms) and each DIP switch adds another 10ohms in parallel (125mA per switch) for range of 250mA to 1250mA in 125mA steps.

The usual diode/10uF TANT across the LD and 100nF in the input.

445nm 3 piece glass lens & LD (thanks Dave!), no corrective optics or modulation (not for projector use).

i have about four of those dip switches, i have no idea how to use them though

2 rows of pins, the left hand on top and bottom row are a switch. Same for each switch across.

They only handle 100-500mA depending on brand and model.
