Animated Outlook Templates?

Not expecting any reply at all for this but I need to make a signature template for Office Outlook that has an animated image in... I have done it the easy way and created the signature in word and saved as html. The only problem is the animated image refuses to animate at all, I have inserted the .gif file yet it does nothing... If I check the image myself it works but it simply refuses to animate in outlook.

Any ideas?
