An intermec ck30 as a host for a small laser show device ? advice ?

This is my first post on the forum so - howzit laserpointerforums - you rock!

Recently I acquired 2x intermec ck30 units and i thought it seems like an intelligent enough device to perhaps attempt a conversion on.

It contains a 1mw 650nm laser which would quickly need to be replaced with something more upbeat and perhaps have a 445nm and 532nm added.

The goal would be to have some kind of hand held laser projector - it could start simple then grow in complexity - kinda like an ongoing project.

Does this look like an endeavour worth pursuing ?

A laser projector cant fit inside this device. But i think you can put a medium power laser in it <500mw. All depends on how many V and mA the device can supply.

nothing is impossible - it can be modified to infinity even if some extra housing is attached.
does the rest of the device look suitable for running custom ?projections?
perhaps first it can be a single or 2 color projector.
