Greetings fellow nerds, I just wanna say that I'm a nerd! And after reading the forums this afternoon I think this place is pretty much the bee's knees.
Names Kent. Graduated from Purdue engineering. Formerly worked on some Fiber's and Co2's in Switzerland, but this week I purchased my first handheld. And now I'm ready to jump down the rabbit hole. I knew I came to the right place as I read how eager we are to build our first units! ( My new 455 nM didnt last 2 hours before I broke it down to inspect and plans for upgrade.) So I have stocked up on supplies and am ready to blow some sh#t up. real talk, I've learned from some absolutely insane individuals whose concern for safety didnt always come first. Or second . But now that I've gained some wisdom between my ears I want to learn even more and take more precautions than when I was young and invincible.
i wanted to introduce myself and now I have. Thank you for having me and I look forward to meeting, maybe not all of you, but some!
any industrial techs the from chicago in the group?
