I got my Aixiz module today and at first I was amazed. It was doing about 100mw I'd guess, right out of the box. I compared the dot with my NV-100 and the NV had it beat, but only by a bit.
After a bit of toying, the dot drastically changed brightness. It dropped to about half or maybe lower than half of what it was out of the box. The potentiometer on the driverboard jumps and has odd points where it will put it to full brightness.
The IR output is a bit high too. Here are the links to the videos showing each of these factors.
