I'm definately getting a couple of the Phazor diodes that DDL tested (hopefully) but I was wondering if anybody has tested the AixiZ diode which they sell for $42.50 and claim is 350mW pulsed and 200mW CW? (I have one, but don't have a way to properly test it) This is the spec sheet from thier site:

I did a search but did not see any threads about this.
Please post information if you have experience with this diode...
Thanks,
Jay

They are Sanyo diodes - and I am a little bit (more than a LITTLE BIT, actually) skeptical that they put out 350mw pulsed....although anything is possible, I suppose ! If you note, the "spec sheet" says, under development - that is kinda strange to me... Anyways - I do hope that Daedal gets his up and running soon - so we can get a few specs from it :)

Nice to know it is a Sanyo diode considering Aixiz is using a Mitsubishi spec sheet... and I still say it does look like it has been altered. Look at the current vs. output..lol.

Good point Gazoo! The sheet says 230mA max current and DDL had to use around 350mA to get 200mW from his Phazor diode tests... Then again, I believe DDL wasn't able to obtain a spec sheet either, because of it being a new diode (I think) I guess we'll have to wait for DDL's test! He would know pretty quik weather it was as good as the Phazor diodes with all of the testing he has already done...

Well, since they are using a mitsubishi spec sheet - it is an obvious "issue"  Chuck Miracle from Aixiz told me that they were Sanyo diodes - so unless he was mistaken, I would say the data sheet is fudged. I would even go so far as to say incorrect.
