Aixiz boost driver?

1W 445nm blue laser diode driver / 405nm laser driver, AixiZ

How is it able to drive 200mW 405's and 1W 445's?
Does it have different modes?
the 405's run at a completely different current that a 445 dont they?

What is the forward voltage of a 405?

Do these drivers need heatsinking?

Forward voltage of 405nm diodes is about 5.5 Volts, which is one full Volt more than 445nm diodes.

It says it's output current rating is 1.1 Amps. I do not know of any 405nm diodes that can take that current and live to lase .

You're better off getting community-made drivers than experiment with commercial ones that may, or may not work with your setup.

I'm considering paralleling 2 of them to drive a new 9mm 445,
they are rated at 1.1A and 4.8V each, which should be perfect,
but we will see...

I would love to be using a blitzBOOST, but it doesn't exist yet
