When I got my Nova X-105, it (like all Nova Lasers) it came with a Spec label.
The label gave three pieces of Info....Peak Measured Power...and Average Measured Power...and the laser's serial number.
For the life of me..I could NOT find a serial number on my laser....so I began to think..How do I know that THIS laser is the one that tested at the listed spec?!
Yes..I am suspicious by nature...but I've also been burned when I trusted a vendor.
Well tonight I found the elusive Serial Number!!!!!
It is HAND WRITTEN inside the aperture (SP?) plug!
The gold end that has the small hole where the beam comes out... (Yeah...real technical description...you find a better way to describe it!!... ) If you remove it, you will see the serial number of your laser written inside!
Just thought I would share my discovery....
