I have ordered a 300-350mw Module from Susie.
I want it in the smallest possible sensfull host.
With the host, after duty cycles of 2 minutes its barely warm.

Some pictures to show you guys a possible solution for the aconsen modules.
In this case the "power on" led is useless and the main switsh from the module is allways on.
Finally i take the MXDL 5Watt host, normally it runs with 3 aaa.
For my mod i put one 18650 in it to power the module.
First mesurment give me 2100ma bevor the driver.
I pusch it via the pot to 2800ma.
Now its never below 450, peaks to 550.
I will se how long this work, on suzies page is written 2w ir diode.
The heatsink is diy, i dont have the tools too build the tread for the heatsink to fit with the body.
Thats the reason for taking the originall tread and glue it in the heatsink.
To prevent damage i spend a heatsink to the resistor wich getting quit warm at 2,8amps.
Its bit copperplate.
The laser is still adjustable, to fix the optik i add a spring.
And some outdoor beamshoots freehand.
