Can someone direct me to the best laser please?
I bought a 50mw but want more power.

I am after something pretty powerful which has infrared filter etc.

150mw to 200mw

I'm all new to this!

Thanks

Budget? Preferred colors?

The one company i never hear anything bad about is nova lasers, you should look into them.

100-125 quid budget, could go a bit more

pref green

whats the site for them guys you mentioned?

if you have that sort of money, you should go for the nova X series - www.novalasers.com - you'll get power for pretty cheap, with the pen style. but that only really goes up to a bit over 125mW (which is very expensive) or get an X-105 if you don't wanna spend silly money, though the 105 would be anything from 105-124mW. if you want higher power than that, then you really need to start looking at stuff from www.optotronics.com or www.laserglow.com - but their stuff is a lot more expensive than your stated price range generally (and a lot more powerful than the X series)...

All a tad confusing for me, don't Know what to go for!

I want a green powerful laser that can pop balloons, burn matches etc..

& can be seen from quite a distance.....

the nova X105 or even an X85 will do all of that (though the X105 will do it quicker), both have beams that are very visible in the dark, or in smoke or fog, daylight will make almost any laser's visibility suffer though. still, i can usually see both my green laser's beams (an X85 and an X105-equivalent) in the daytime without smoke, they're just really faint. basically, despite certain advertising videos/photos, don't expect a lightsaber :)
