AAA battery question for lasers

If i want high powered AAA batteries for my laser pointer and i don't wanna spend 10 bucks every time i buy a pack of 4 strong "super alkaline" batteries at the store are there any alternates? such as a high powered rechargeable AAA that i can buy online? Does anyone know where I can find one?

NiMH batteries tend to work well with green lasers. Why don't you try that :

What does "high powered" mean? As in, "high voltage will kill your laser" power or "long life" power? There's really no other option. Go with Eneloops, they are rechargeable and they have a long life. They work great.
