A little question about burning laser..

Hi,
i would like to know- is it possible to make a burning laser without the aixiz laser? just with the DVD ?

The aixiz module is needed to help heatsink the laser diode and to collimate it. You could use some other module like the meredith ones, or just use something else to press the diode onto or glue it with thermal epoxy and somehow place a lens to collimate the light from the diode into a beam.
I say you're better off buying an aixiz module, they're not expensive and they will save you a lot of trouble from looking or making something else you can use.

It's possible, but it's not very easy and chances are your diode won't live very long.
