I don't remember when I became interested in lasers. I do remember buying my first one in high school though. I still have it to this day. It works fine but I ruined the lens in it so all I have is a big dot. I got my first green near the end of high school or shortly afterwards. It was $300 for less than 5mW. That was 10 years ago. I don't remember what happened to it but I ran across the lens assembly a few days ago. Now move along to early 2004. I bought another green. It is the Z-bolt listed in my sig. It still works fine to this day. My most recent purchase was a PPL-125 which I upgraded to a RPL-200. Jack decided to send me a RPL-225 though which made me even happier.
I'll post some links to pictures of my older lasers. One contains the green stuff and the other contains the reds. I'd appreciate if somebody could identify the red laser that is not the one that contains a pen also. You can see the lens assembly for my old green pointer. Maybe somebody can identify the pointer it was from. I've included the labels from my Z-bolt green. The bigger label was placed over the small label.
