Anyone know where I can get one? (hopefully under 40$)

I have two CR2's and a charger already, looking for a good green laser but most use CR123's.

Green lasers are built little differently, and they usually require only one lithium or lithium ion cell, or two alkalines/NiMHs.

Two lithium ion cells is too much since regulation circuits have low losses and diode needs low voltage, so requiring extra input voltage is just wasting the power for nothing, it would only get converted into heat.

So, you'll have pretty tough time finding one like that.

Ah, I didn't know there was a big difference between wavelengths as far as the batteries went.

I guess I'll go for the single CR123 as that will allow me to test more greenies. Thanks!

No problem.

I suggest picking up batteries and chargers from DinoDirect now.
They have a huge sale until 1st December, everything in half price.

You have a big red banner at the top of the website there.

Enjoy! :)

DX's one is sold out, Kaidomain's looks very nice, however it's not copper but brass, contrary to what is says in title.

Also, it's over OP's budget, but I'd reccomend it anyway.
