Yes, I am slow at burning, but that was because i am still trying to get used to focusing. ( any tips would be appreciated :thanks: )

You need goggles to cut the glare. Its a good idea to have them anyway. You only have 2 eyes.

I was and am using goggles :). Sorry I should have been more specific. I would appreciate some tips on focusing :)
 
I find, that when I focus my blue laser, I see a bright yellow fluorescence at the focal point. If I am near the focal point, it is orange and less bright. I am using yellow safety glasses which have an OD of ~4. It is MUCH easier to focus your laser when wearing laser safety glasses, I find. Unless you are using the beam as a reference.
