Nice shots!

Did you star that shot with photoshop, or did the beam impact come out that way?

Isn't your unit a 325mw?

No photoshop. The EF 50mm 1.4 lens gives that effect all on it's own (Actually it is probably the UV filter on the lens that is doing it...)

I think Justin assumed because the unit he sent me had a overall average of 335 he considered it a 325.. He mentioned something about rebrainding it so it ships as a 300.. I really didn't question it since I paid 1250.00 for the 300. Wind....sorry about that late call! ::)

It is the UV filter causing that "Effect" you see. I forgot the name for it, but it's interference between the front optics and the UV filter. Also, 10 seconds is a bit much for that laser, i'd bring it down to maybe 2 seconds looking towards the laser ;)

No problemo.... I saw the post of your label... thats cool.. technically, mine could have sold as a 325 too.. since it could have been tweaked differently.

The specs on mine are:

Hercules 300mw
426mw peak output power
321mw Average Output Power

Nice that Justin doesn't sweat a few Mw's and laserglow is very generoug and gives you more than you paid for.
Average power over 10 minutes is quite a rating!.... Thats after its been warmed up first!

yeah.. 10 was a tad high...but I stopped it down to get better DOF.. I could have shot it at a higher ISO, but I didn't want the grain.
