9mm 808nm Datasheet

I've got a few of these coming in the mail for an 808nm build.

Lot 2 x 808nm 1000 MW High Power 1 Watt Burning Laser Diodes DPSS | eBay

I've been coming up short on finding a datasheet on these diodes. I really just need to know the +/- pinout, I don't want to find out the hard way

Well, I know 99% of all IR 9 mm diodes are case positive... In fact I've never seen one that was connected up any other way

So the lead that is connected to the case, well that's your anode.

I was just worried if I threw my DMM on it to test it I would have the chance of damaging it.

That's why you're getting a pair.

One to use, and one to lose.

Well since the diode has two pins and it's
case positive then the pin with a black circle
at it's base is the negative...:beer:
You can pretty much tell it from the listing picture
