I feel a bit redundant posting a thread with new pics 3 days in a row, sorry if anyone feels my frequency too aggressive :D
I've been making a push towards more "vertical" beams lately - and that theme continues somewhat here.

Wavelengths used:
505nm
660nm
~460nm
490nm

If you go into the media album on here (LPF) or into Flickr, you might run into some that had the RGB used, but none in this thread.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I'm in-between baseball games, have 3 boys playing "fall-ball", which means they do double headers for the 'older' leagues...5 games every Sunday!!! Enjoy it while it lasts :D

Cheers!
(need to work on the emojis)

I see some possibilities with that pyramid.......It's hollow, made from 4 triangular glass plates, Right?

Hey, Red! You took my next post title math formula :P

I want to hear the idea(s)! It's only 3 sides, but could put a top/bottom on it. It's 3 trapezoidal mirrors from a projection TV, IIRC.

You could build a black plywood box for it to sit on with lasers aimed up, make some articulated/difraction and you could do a holographic like deal with a light fog inside, maybe some galvos.

Yeah, I have thought your pyramid was made from mirrors. I see you are still working with diffraction gratings. Don't let them get too busy as it detracts from the overall effect, IMO. You have some nice photos here. ;)

Thanks for the feedback, Paul. Appreciate the opinions, always :D

I like where you are going, here. I elevated it just slightly (like 2") for some of these, to point beams UNDER and the reflect 90 degrees and BEHIND the pyramid/ball - but I havent really elevated it beyond that. I'm either pointing in/through/behind/down, but never UP towards it. A different approach here is a swell idea!
Thank you!
