50mW burning?






Yes, unless its terribly underspec. Blu-ray (405nm) lasers are the best handheld burners atm. Even a 15mW blu-ray can pop black balloons :P

EDIT: Will not burn like in the video but will smoke black stuff etc and light black tipped matches.

A 200mW 404nm laser will burn like that... even a 100mW 405nm could pull that off...

Unfortunately the link on both youtube and the one you provide link to a 50mW laser. At 50mW the laser won't burn much... should pop balloons though.

You might get lucky and get an overspec laser, or you might not... the rest is your call.


Edit: I just noticed the name of the site... Good Luck Buy, wonder if they mean Good Luck Buying here:crackup:
