488nm Laser Diode

Hey guys,

I was wondering where I could find a 488nm laser diode? I am currently building quite a few lasers and bought quite a few host's from some members on this forum (which I will be posting pics soon once the holidays are over and I can finally build them!). 488nm Looks so beautiful and I would love to know how to get a hold of one of these!

Oops, I meant 488nm! I'm sorry, I was looking for the 488nm Diode! Going to try and change the title if I can.

Currently the cheapest option for 488nm LD is the Osram PLT5 488 which will cost you around $1000.

I've edited the title for you. Agreed with what is said above. The 470nm-510nm price range of diodes is still quite high! :yh:

Ouch, I had no idea it was that costly. It really is a beautiful color too.
