Using the diode and lens would require something similar to an Aixis module. You may want to do some searching and reading here on the site to understand more on using these components. Thanks for your interest.

alx, I would recommend DTR's module and lens holder. His lens holder is specifically designed for the lenses that come with the 9mm NDB7875s so you wont have to take a chance at scratching your lens grinding down the sides to fit it in a standard lens holder. The module, just because it is nice to get something from the same place and they have a smaller deviation in size from module to module, so whatever heatsink you are putting it in will more than likely fit correctly.

I might have killed the demand for these with my recent group buy, but good luck with the sales wby300

Hi wby300,

I do not know if intentional or not, but from picture above, almost all (excepting) one diode, are shown from behind. If not intentional, could you please to post here, better pictures show front view of those diodes? To convince us that diodes does not look dirty or are not malformed (when extracted)?

Regards,
Alx

I can get a better pic yes, but they were shown from behind to show the pins were not messed up and do not have solder still blobbed on them from extraction.

petters , the lenses from these fit my modules lens mount. They are the old standard metal frame lens mount in a Aixis module, no need for a different size?? I keep hearing about this, but with the glue fully removed from the glass they fit, or at least mine do.

Not sure, probably less than now.:) Actually, I set the date on this camera and it changes all the time. It also says there is no sd card in when there is, sometimes it will start with a white screen and wont do anything. Its a Kodak 1273, takes good pics when it works right.

thanks wby300, you are fair posting here other pics ... but, what I was afraid seems to be true... some of them looks like it has glue over the cap obstructing partially orifice from when light is going out from diode ... why it looks so dirty? there is no way the extract it cleaner?

I don't see any glue that would affect the diode's light output. Only some leftover adhesive on the sides that the factory lens holders leave behind.

alx, not sure what you are seeing over the lens? There is some on the very edges of the can which is where the lens mounts are glued. There is NOTHING on or blocking the lenses. The original pics were taken with a 12MP camera, I can send you those to check so you can see better, maybe its on your glasses. Thanks for being the voice of reason Duke. I already invested the money into this projector, extracted them and cleaned them up, I think I may just keep all the diodes and make a 24 diode hand held beast!:lasergun:
