I was looking at different lsers on the internet for a 100mW laser and saw for only $10 more I can get a 200mW laser with the same style host. I am just wondering if anyone has this laser or has had any experience with it, and whether it is a good laser or not. I will obviously buy some better eye protection when I get it, too. Here is the link to the laser.

Edit: Found a thread that has already reviewed it here.

For 70$, you should consider looking around the forums. Maybe a member can build you a MUCH stronger one for the same price, or a little more.

Here's 445nm lasers:
Cyber 445nm - 500mW Focusable Blue Laser Pointer

LZCS 445nm - 1W Classic Focusable Blue Laser Pointer w/ Star effect

Looked around the B/S/T posts that are relatively recent and almost all of them are 500mW+. None are around 100-300mW which is about what I'd like right now, and most seem to be a hundred or two hundred dollars. Are there specific people you can point me to that make full lasers and lower power?

I'm sure someone could get a 200mW 405nm into a C6 in your price range. I'm not much of a builder myself but you could ask people like blord and others who sell often.

keep in mind, 200mW of 405nm (violet) isn't going to look terribly impressive, compared to 200mW of 445nm (blue.) It was a let-down the first time I fired up a 405. It's pretty, but it's close to the edge of visibility.

Good point :)
