Hey guys, I'm selling this... good, project green laser.
It, according to my friend Gren, who had traded me to it, is supposed to spew out around 250-300 mW of green light. As to if it actually does or not, I'm not sure, but it definitely does burn stuff well if you focus it properly.
This laser is in a bit of disarray. It could definitely be a nice one, but it's a bit older, and has seen better days.
It's got a nice clicky switch on the bottom. The focus on it is inadjustable, as I sort of had to hot glue an aixiz acrylic onto the module.
Here's what it lookie like
It requires a bit of work, and some lens alignment. I'm tired of this thing and it rather hurts to see it in such a state. Maybe someone could salvage the parts inside of it for good use? The crystal set inside of this thing is MASSIVE, they look to be around 7 mm by 7 mm big, and are two separated crystals. It's not IR filtered, however.
The IR diode in it is a 2-3 watt 808 C-mount fatty. I'm sure that with a bit of patience, alignment, the guts of this laser would make for a GREAT labby. I don't have any machine equipment, otherwise I would attempt it myself.
The driver for it is actually pretty neat. It has thermistor feedback, so it throttles the laser's power down as it gets hotter, preventing it from self destructing. Would help with making the labby!
The laser runs off of one 18650 battery, which I will include with it if you so please.
Random Beamshot;
I'm going to be honest, I'm not sure what to ask of this. It's a bit of a project to make it nice again, so... Just, make me offers please. Looking to get around $120-140 for this. I'll also accept trades of sorts, I'm looking for a 473 nm laser of any kind, or a 445 nm.
Here it is on;
With the main head on it;
Thanks for looking!
