Hi everyone, im new here. I just got my new 2w 445nm blue laser diode.
Couldn't find any driver for this one. Housing: Lazerer classic
So, i think i have all i need to make powerful laser, if it works i order laser goggles too. Only part missing the driver for 2w 445nm laser.
Where i can find one?

I would not push that diode to 2W with that tiny little heatsink! Search for MohGasm linear driver on the forum. You would probably have to mod either the driver or host to fit, but thats what you get when you find a host that is not made for an off the shelf driver. I would say max 1W with that heatsink

Lol i was just looking that site and realised what idiot i am :p
No answers need anymore, find driver in lazerer's site

ok, should i use 1w one, or anyone knows good host for 2w diode?

For 2W you will need a beefy heatsink. And you get plenty of burning power from 1W and the laser diode will last a lot longer since it wont be pushed to the limit. So for starters I think you should go for 1W and then upgrade a long the way if you feel that 1W is to little

In Euds page look at the links for hosts that you find for most heatsink solutions. You could buy the host from one of the links and then get a heatsink fabricated from Eud, they come really cheap and the quality is excellent:

This is one of the really massive hosts and heatsink:

I am not sure how efficient that driver is so you would have to check with Lazerer. Mohgasms driver for instance puts out ~1W at 1.25A. If this is similar then I would go for 1200mA

I just bough the powerbuck 2A from lazerer, everything work really fine but after 10-15sec it turn dim ;( anyone had this problem before? or my driver failure ?

I'm using 445nm diode with heat sink and 2x 3.7v li battery
