Not sure if this is regional or just local, it's worth looking into if you visit the store anyway.
Found these 26650s at the rat shack today on clearance for 10$. They're rated 3500mah and both cells actually charge to 3500. I bought 2 packs to use for a powerbank and looks like they'll work great.
This cell will charge over 3500mah I believe.
I looked at their website (the manufacturer) and they have a good bit of cool stuff at halfway decent prices.

The negative end almost looks like a copper pcb.. maybe I'll tear into one for further investigation. It did say discharge and overcharge protection, so definitely protected.
