I don't understand... Could anyone link me a 3.7 charger and 3.7 batts? Couldn't I get the ones from o-like? Thanks!! And why the hell is DX down since over a week now, that sucks...

Hey Jaffi....
don't you even read the thread you're on...
Here's a link...

Not much difference between 3.6V and 3.7V.... IMO

@ jimmymcjinthejim.... I don't know how many times I need
to say the same thing....
I bought that same exact item from the same exact seller....
The 4 batteries I got were 3.6V 600mA....
The charger I got from that exact same eBay seller was a 4.2volt DC
output (specified on label).....

The Charger has the same physical appearance as the photo in the
listing but has a different name...

Why don't the members that don't believe me... just contact the seller...
There is an "ask Seller a question" button that's free to use...

The seller obviously made a typo on his listing.... it should read

4 x CR2 3.6V Rechargeable Battery + CHARGER 3.6V

Hmm.. about the whole 3.0/3.6 volt issue: I went ahead and soldered at 10 ohm resistor over the existing 6.8 ohm one in the power path. From 3.0 volts this brough current from 280 to 330 mA, which seems pretty safe.

The risk of this mod is that it will draw even more current when you happen to insert 3.6 volt cells, but i've seen so many stories of these surviving over voltage it's probably going to be fine.
