When laying in bed i couldn't stop thinking about one thing, if i'm out shining my 1W blue laser in the sky and a bug or fly hit, will the beam stop travelling and stop on the bug and blind me? Or will the bug get fried in a sec or two? I know thi sounds retarded, but yeah. I am. :D

Took this picture and the reflection you see in mid air is an insect flying through the beam, nothing really happens; you don't kill it since the period of light exposure is too short, you don't blind yourself ether.

thank you for your answer! I can finally stop thinking about this

Well you can kill it, it just depends on the type of insect and the closeness it is to you're laser, also depending on the insect size it might not pass thru it.

well a bee was flying around my face so i backed up and shined my 1600mw blue laser in front of me and the bee flew right into it and it dropped,, so depending on how close it can lol,

Didn't we talk about this like week ago ? I'm surprised it's not the same thread ..
