I just bought this, im just getting it to use personally and it would be sweet to have one i thought, mess with my friends and stuff haha, will this light up matches/pop ballons/cut tape like nothing or what? And does anyone know what i have to do to make it work properly? I believe i just have to mount it into a small metal box or something to keep cool? i want it to fit in my pocket though.

2. Directions:



1) Please connect the laser modules with the power supply by the cable. the  serial number of    them should be matched or it will damage the laser modules. please do not press the cable roughly which connetes the machine and power supply in case blocking the lines inside the laser machine



2) Please fix the laser machine onto a flat metal board to drop heat well, or you can put a cooler beside it.



3) Please do not use laser modules at the room full of dust and be careful of keeping machine clean. please stick labels on the light holes to protect the machine if the laser moduls are not used for a long time.



3. Point for attention:



1) Do not crash or shock the machine roughly.



2) Do not direct exposure the skin of hurman or animal, especially the eyes, under the laser light, or it may be harmful.



3) Do not open the machine and power supply. it would not be warranted by us

Ahhh, you want to be able to carry it in your pocket, AND have it be an awesome burner as well huh? :D

Sounds like a reasonable request....

There are a few members of the forum who build such a unit. Take a look around... I have some heavy duty heatsinked red burner builds, as well as some blu-ray builds. Take a read here for some testimonials and reviews:

I like yours, so i can take one of my old mini mags and put my new laser in that? I just cant afford over 100$ haha, i was pushing 90$.

how bad do these burn haha?

There about as good as it gets with a DIY red! ;)

There is all of the informative links that you need right there! You have some reading to do though. I have links to parts there, as well as links to the original build threads for that MXDL host by Daedal. My build is just a 'pumped up' version of DDL's original build. There are other driver choices now as well...
