100mW IR Laser or 150mW Blueray Laser?

Yes, I already have 2 IR lasers. 1 portable and 1 not.

Go with the 150mW 405nm.

It will be visible, it will allow you to play with fluorescence, and it will burn better.

Yes, 405 is better IMO because of the visibility, but only when compared to IR. lol

Thats what i was thinking about. You can paint something with glow in the dark paint and it will work the same right?

I used my 405 to do all kinds of neat fluorescence and phosphorescence experiments. It's one heck of a way to charge anything that glows in the dark. My kid has a ceiling full of those glow in the dark stars and every night he wants them to glow before bed. I set the focus to super-wide and instantaneously charge the whole ceiling in a few sweeps of the beam. Uranium marbles are cool too. Test for impurities in diamonds! Play CSI!

Definitely get the Blu-Ray.
