Every now and again we come up with extra inventory. This system was from a canceled order. It is a brand new 100mW 532nm integration laser system. You can view images and specifications of the laser here: http://store.oemlasersystems.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_58&products_id=82

The measured output is over 50% higher than rated. Here is a copy of the analysis:

PRICE: $275.00 with free shipping in the U.S. We will ship outside the U.S. on your dime. There is no warranty on this item. It is tested good and will be properly and securely packaged for shipment.

PMs will have right of refusal in the order received. If you have questions, please ask them in the thread as others may have the same questions.

I do not have my own lab laser and ever since seeing Dave's I've wanted one. One question frothy: without adding a extra heatsinking how long could I leave it running (reasonably speaking)?

That 15 minute graph was run without any heatsinking and it stabilized quite nicely. It's really a warning for the higher power systems as they are constructed with the same materials. There is only so much heat that can be carried away. I dont think you would have a heat issue. There is a TEC in it so the diode is cooled and the driver has a thermal feedback system so it will shutdown if the temp gets too high. It's a nice little system. Really tiny (hence the OEM stuff).

Here's a gee whizzer for you all. There is one of these little lasers (300mW 532nm) currently running 400 meters underwater in a pressure vessel scanning the ocean water around an off shore drilling platform for oil leaks. Now THAT's a scanner!
