Hi guys,
I have a problem with my laser. After a day of receipt* of my 1.2W cyber445 blue laser did not work. I think there's electricity transmission interruption at near the spring. If I disassemble the diode and pcb, i repair it. But how can i do
disassemble the diode ?
I want this,

Thank you very much. :thanks:

Basically exactly like that - you need to have some sort of hollow cylinder tool, and press on the module from the opposite side, where the driver is, but without touching the driver. You need to use a vice to apply enough force.

It's difficult, but possible.

Thank you for reply. Which side to be applied pressure? Photo 1 or photo 2 ?

Correct.

Like I said, you need something hollow, like a tube, so you do not damage the driver. You need to push against metal back of the module - but not aluminium part of the host. Simply push the brass (gold) part.

The tube has to be very strong. If you can find or make something out of steel, it would be great. I had a lot of troubles disassembling a host like that. Luckily I only needed to take apart one of those, so far.

Blue--> near the host. Red--> More than forward on the driver. Which colour i press?

Red.

You can also remove the black foam to see better. Simply use pair of tweezers to pull it out. you will be able to see more clearly.
