Just found this, really useful. The 1.6w green is equivalent to something like 20w of 445nm blue. Originally I was going to do a NUBM44 445nm as first custom build - but definitely the right move going to the lower power and higher brightness NUGM06!

Thanks for checking. Yes I read the thread, I understand there are challenges but if it's possible to bring to life it would be pretty cool. I'm a big fan of marble in the home, so if that could be translated into a pointer that would be cool. Sounds fairly challenging though.

My first build pointer build is going to be green after testing of the diodes, originally had planned to do blue, which still looks good, but green just looks so much brighter with less power.
