OPT Lasers Cylindric lenses - NUBM44 beam correction tests

I using nubm44, driver 4.5A and cylindrical lens 3x purchased by opt laser. At 2m the beam spot is about 7mm, but it have lost power, without lens the beam bigger but much powerful. In your video you burn at 16 feet (5m), how? Where can I wrong?

    Hello!

    @Encap @paul1598419 thank you

    Hello!

fans over the heat sink for peltier, peltier over the laser's heatsink? nice idea, but the tec absorb to much A for a portable laser

    Hello!

Hello for the M140 diode i has a good hosting (like as attachment), after several minutes, the temperature is ok. For i want to buy this for NUBM44 Heat Sink for 12 mm Modules or you know something else?
  6. H

    Hello!

Ok, I'm looking for e better heatsink. What is the maximum operation temperature? I have added a thermometer, so I can stop using when the temperature is reached and the fan still working to lowering the temperature
  7. H

    Hello!

Yes, this is what i'll do. Yesterday i received the diode, but i don't use before that i receive the goggle, because the actual goggle is not enough protection for that diode

Info optics for a smaller beam at 5m

    Purchased Thank you
  9. H

    Hello!

OK, so if I reduce the distance at maximum 2 meters I can obtain a good compromise between power and beam diameter, with three element lens + 3X cylindrical lens, right?
  10. H

    Hello!

Hi, yes I have asked here http://laserpointerforums.com/f49/info-optics-smaller-beam-5m-100006.html But no useful answer for now about my question

    Hello!

Thank you for all your words. Without dreams, where we were?
  12. H

    Hello!

Thank you all for your welcome and for your concerns. I will keep in mind all your tips. A brief will buy the goggle OD5 for more protection

Info optics for a smaller beam at 5m

    Where i can find it?
  15. H

    Hello!

I have also a M140, i'll try to start with this diode I will remember your words before it is too late. thank you for your advice man

Info optics for a smaller beam at 5m

is really dangerous? I use safety glasses with 20% light transmission with potection from 190-540nm and 800-2000nm wave lenght. it's not enough?
  17. H

    Hello!

Yes, NUBM44, i use safety glasses with 20% light transmission with potection from 190-540nm and 800-2000nm wave lenght. I can limit the moviment, and use it inside a protected area from every reflections.
  18. H

    Hello!

I can understand your concerns, but I will take all the necessary precautions, and I will be alone in the environment, and above all, I will be behind the light beam.
  19. H

    Hello!

Yes i know, in the tracking system i added a people recognition in the scene, and if is positive, nothing can happen. The first step is to aim only to immobile objects, because i dont have good hw to follow the movements
  20. H

    Hello!

I want realize my little project to eliminate the mosquitoes with light! haha I'm developer, and for now create a sw and hw to track and follow some target. My budget is low, so i cant have a good hw for a smaller movement, and not for a good optic for a good image quality. Step by step i'll...
