Change grating in Ocean Optics HR2000

Hello. I have an Ocean Optics HR2000 which appears to have been adjusted or have a grating which is giving me ~470-780nm of spectral range. I have some things which I'd like to do which fall outside those limits. Anybody have experience with swapping gratings in these things? Thanks.

Ah! Ok, that makes it more clear. Thanks!

    Repolish laser fiber

Thanks for the quick reply. I've done some digging on ebay, Thor, Newport, Mouser, etc. I've yet to find any SMA connectors for 105um. I'd be happy to swap the existing fiber out for something pre-terminated, but I don't think I can. Here's a pic of the laser.

    Repolish laser fiber

Hello @RedCowboy . Thanks for the information you provided above. I'm in a similar position. I have a high power IR diode which is coupled to a 105um fiber. The end connected to the diode body does not appear to be removable. The other end is bare fiber. I need to terminate it, probably with...

    n00b question about driver voltage

The main reason I was looking at those units was that they could drive a fair amount of power and that they had multiple safety features (both for diode and users). I also would like to be able to manage laser power via photodiode feedback rather than just by fixed current. Thanks for the...

    n00b question about driver voltage

Hello, folks. I have some TO-5 1W 808nm diodes I want to do some bench experimenting with. I also have a BDR-209 405nm diode coming. Eventually I'd like to be able to run more powerful diodes as well. I'm looking at getting a SDL / IDL-820 type driver to support this work. The 808 and 405...
