Yeah not fair that they can boast false mAh's as folk do with wattage here all the time. Burninglaser.com claims 1200mAh which isn't even worthy of lying about so I shall perhaps try them
16340's are very likely the correct 1 and 2 of em eh ? Thanks, doubt it is carried in any Canadian shops so what's a trustworthy site you use for le batteries ?
Woah great deduction skills, thanks, you listed em in order of resemblance to the photo. Are you sure those last 2 you listed are safe to try and won't fry the circuits ?
Also, any good site that would free ship those to Canada with potential for returns lol ?
Got this laser for my bro and I
https://m.dhgate.com/product/most-powerful-burning-blue-laser-torch-445nm/420675733.html
And there seem to be many alike it but the battery model is not specified. Anyone know how I can decipher from the laser what the exact battery model name is ? My stores...

Not sure about how much you trust it but reviews say it takes almost a month to arrive :P
I have the green starry sky from GearBest & seems to be more or less the same thing for $8 & comes with a charger although I got off our pal craig(slist)
Damn, ok. Is there a particular thread where this happens or should I just keep an eye out every week? I may not be in a safe enough environment to get anything over 150mW
Thanks it doesn't seem to burn anything so I can't say it's 100mW+ but I'll try black eletrical tape. And you said to also ship it to a trust member with a meter? How many days would all this take (Canada to America, then back?
Thanks, how can I test its strength? Hasnt burned anything yet & i'm always cautious & paranoid not to hit a reflective surface. These forums really know how to freak a person out about that lol. Bad enough there is IR leakage for now
I like the things you say, and you are right that I am young and impatient (not stupid though) but that is why I came here to seek advice. You may not know the laser I have but your guesses/things to check for are damn better than mine. So it's worth hearing a safety lecture. I'm glad you care...
Thanks icecrusher, but I'd like to drop the past ever since a few nice guys PM'd me & suggested I retract from arguing with members and I am trying but in every thread, someone keeps bringing it back up.
Anyways, I would love to construct my own site but lack that kinda time. As far as the...
I get the feeling, replacing the switch part costs about as much as getting a new laser altogether :/ might upgrade to a 150mW in due time if I can a stable one for $60-65
^Very knowledgable, homie, I am getting this vibe from half the forum that I need an IR filter and goggles for this ambiguous laser I have although I do not wish to sacrifice power as you can visibly see the beam till the stars. On the other hand a lot of you are dissuading me out of an IR filter :p
^probably a damn good point, I'll check out IR filters, I just don't wanna get 1 if it isn't necessary for this that can't seem to burn anything. It might be 5mW. It's not bright enough for me to take a picture of the beam at night. You can see the dot, not the very thin beam
Thanks, the guy was 50 & seemed to have it for years. Provided a battery charger & gave several precautions "dont overcharge battery, dont put battety in charger the wrong way, keep it on for no longer than 30 seconds at a time" etc. So if it's taken care of for years, it should live, right...
